The shortcodes outlined below are included in the\u00a0FooEvents Calendar<\/a>\u00a0plugin<\/p>\n

Navigate to the post or page where you would like to insert the calendar on your website. Type or paste the calendar shortcode in the main content text editor.<\/p>\n

Shortcode usage<\/h2>\n

Basic calendar<\/strong><\/p>\n

Calendar Widgets<\/h2>\n

  • Go to Appearance<\/strong> > Widgets<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Drag the FooEvents Calendar widget<\/strong> into the widget area<\/strong> where you would like it to be displayed<\/li>\n
  • Type a widget title<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Select which type of view<\/strong> you would like to use \u2013 Calendar or List view<\/li>\n
  • Calendar view<\/strong>\n
      \n
    • You can specify which date you would like the calendar to start on. If left empty, the calendar will default to the current date.<\/li>\n
    • Example date format: 2016-09-01 (yyyy\/mm\/dd)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • List view<\/strong>\n
        \n
      • You can set the number of events to be displayed. By default, the list view will display the latest 5 events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Click Save<\/strong> to confirm your changes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
