The FooEvents Calendar<\/a> includes the ability to convert any post, page, or custom post type into an event and display them in a calendar on your WordPress website.<\/p>\n

The FooEvents Calendar<\/a> plugin can be used on its own without the FooEvents for WooCommerce<\/a> core plugin installed, however, it will not support ticketing<\/a>, multi-day<\/a>, and booking<\/a> functionality in this scenario.<\/p>\n

If you do not<\/strong> have the FooEvents for WooCommerce<\/a> core plugin installed, please follow these steps to add an event calendar to your WordPress website:<\/p>\n

1. Install and configure the FooEvents Calendar plugin<\/h3>\n

  1. Install the FooEvents Calendar<\/a> on your WordPress website<\/li>\n
  2. Navigate to the Calendar Settings in your WordPress admin dashboard. Go to FooEvents<\/strong> > Calendar Settings<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Complete the Calendar Settings<\/strong> as needed. Be sure to select which post types can be set as events in the Associate with post types<\/strong> multi-select box. Selected post types will then display additional event settings such as the event date and can be displayed in the calendar<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    2. Add event details to a post, page, or custom post type<\/h3>\n

    1. Navigate to any post<\/strong>, page<\/strong>, or custom post type<\/strong> that needs to be displayed as an event in the calendar<\/li>\n
    2. Scroll down to the Event Settings<\/strong> meta box and complete the event details as needed \"Calendar<\/li>\n
    3. Save the settings and repeat this process for each page, post, or custom post type that needs to reflect as an event in the calendar<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      3. Embed the calendar on your website<\/h3>\n

      1. Browse to a page or post where you intend to display the calendar<\/li>\n
      2. Add the following short code<\/a> to display the calendar: [fooevents_calendar] \"Using<\/strong><\/li>\n
      3. Save and view the page\/post to confirm that the calendar is displaying correctly \"Viewing<\/li>\n
      4. You can further customize the calendar using various short code properties<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
