TranslatePress is our recommended translation solution due to it’s ease of use and low resource overhead. It also works out of the box with FooEvents and you can see it in action on the FooEvents Demo sites.

Installing TranslatePress
Follow the steps below to install and activate TranslatePress on your WordPress website.
Install TranslatePress (Free Version) #
Using the WordPress Dashboard:
- Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard
- Přejít na Plugins > Add New
- Search for TranslatePress in the plugin search bar
- Klikněte na Nainstalovat nyní on the TranslatePress result
- Once the plugin is installed, click Aktivace
The free version allows you to translate your site into one additional language.
Install TranslatePress Pro (If Applicable) #
If you’ve purchased the premium version, you’ll need to install it manually by uploading the plugin file.
- Stáhněte si
.zipfile from your TranslatePress account under the Ke stažení na sekce - In WordPress, go to Plugins > Add New and click Plugin pro nahrávání
- Select the downloaded
.zipfile and click Nainstalovat nyní - After installation, click Aktivace
Poznámka: The free TranslatePress plugin must remain active for the premium version to work correctly.
Install and Activate Add-ons (Premium Users Only)
Premium plans include access to add-ons that enhance functionality.
- Download each add-on
.zipfile from your TranslatePress account - Přejít na Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin
- Upload the file, then install and activate the add-on
- Repeat the process for additional add-ons you wish to use
License Activation (Premium Users Only)
Activating your license enables updates and access to support.
- Přejít na Settings > TranslatePress > License
- Enter your license key (found in your TranslatePress account)
- Klikněte na Activate License
Once activated, your plugin and add-ons will receive automatic updates.
Start Translating Your Website
After installation and setup:
Přejít na Settings > TranslatePress to configure your languages.
Použijte Visual Translation Editor to translate content directly from the front-end or configure one of the time-saving automatic translation options.
Email and Ticket Translation
Emails will be sent to customers in the language that they last browsed your website. This also applies to Vstupenky FooEvents PDF which will automatically be translated into the language that was set at time of checkout.
For logged-in users this information is automatically updated with the last language they visited the website in.
All email types listed under WooCommerce → Nastavení → E-maily will be sent in the customer’s preferred language, regardless of whether they are triggered by a customer action (i.e. placing an order) or shop manager action (i.e. marking an order as complete).
